The Quapaw Nation’s Saracen Casino Resort Construction Team invites Pine Bluff and Jefferson County construction contractors to a meeting from 6‐9 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Refreshments will be served.
The purpose is to discuss the work that needs to be done regarding the casino plan, according to a news release.
If a gaming license is granted from the Arkansas Racing Commission, organizers plan to build the Saracen Casino Resort at Pine Bluff, according to John Berrey, chairman of the business committee of the Quapaw Nation and chairman of the Downstream Development Authority.
The construction team will hold the meet‐and‐greet with the people of Pine Bluff and Jefferson County who have experience in construction and have the entrepreneurial spirit and the personal drive to become a contractor, Berrey said.
