White Hall's conference champions

  White Hall’s Bulldogs will be competing in the May 13-21 state tournament at Rogers after earning a share of the 5A-Southeast Conference crown with Watson Chapel. Coach Skip Carr’s Dogs, who lost a coin toss and will thus be the loop’s second seed in the state meet, were 13-1 in league play and 22-7 overall. Carr is assisted by David Arcement, John Gore, Shane Harp and Rusty Johnson. Players include Michael Acosta, Cash Arcement, Zach Barr, Hunter Brown, Christopher Bryan, Clay Cannon, Ricky Carr, Zach Gober, Josh Guy, Ronnie Gray, Hunter Hale, Jacob Holland, T.J. Horton, Dylan James, Adam Law, Zack Lawrence, Nathan Lee, Joey Marks, Mason Rush, Scott Scifres, Chris Smith, Pierce Sloan and Jeremy Sprinkle. Barr, Carr, Gober, Guy, Horton, James, Law, Marks, Rush and Scifres were saluted during the squad’s senior night festivities on Monday, May 9.    

  White Hall High School’s Lady Bulldogs successfully defended their 5A-Southeast Conference championship, wrapping up another title with a 13-1 league mark and a 23-3 overall log. Coach Terri Smith is assisted by Mark Akins, David Stroud and Keith Walters. Players include Jessica Ashcraft, Haley Baugh, Rachel Box, Sydnee Clark, Hannah Dampier, Brooks Davis, Kaylie Doggett, Robyn Koonce, Emily Law, Madison Martin, Krysta Mason, Shanice Murry, Emily Grace Ruggeri, Lauran Rush, Meagn Rush, Sydney Smith, Erica Stackhouse, Patience Walker, Kayla Walters, Abby Weaver, Ashley Wheelus, Lindsey Williams and Haley Woods. The Lady Bulldogs will compete in the state tournament May 13-21 at Greenbrier. Ruggeri, Walters and Woods were honored during Thursday, May 5, senior night ceremonies.
