Pine Bluff Chemical Activity (PBCA), a tenant command of the Pine Bluff Arsenal, has a new leader. Conrad Whyne, director of the Army’s Chemical Materials Command, helped to officiate a Tuesday change of command ceremony. Outgoing PBCA commander Lt. Col. Clifton R. Johnston. The new commander, Lt. Col. Nathaniel W. Farmer, addressed attendees. Johnston will now be a chemical readiness officer at The Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Farmer, a Kentucky native, holds a BSE degree in secondary education from Western Kentucky University and a MSA degree in human resource management from Central Michigan University. He and his wife, the former Nicole Alexander, have two sons, Nicholas and Nigel.
