Opening a road to the future . . .

    A new road near the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) in Jefferson was dedicated in a Wednesday, June 3, ceremony to Pine Bluff attorney Jack McNulty, a long-time champion of the Bioplex, a developing industrial park for high technology industries. The newly-paved McNulty Road, off NCTR Road, leads into the 1,500-acre Bioplex. Among those participating in a ceremonial ribbon-cutting were Economic Development Alliance of Jefferson County Special Projects Director Michelle Rocha, Delta Regional Authority Immediate-past Co-chairman Rex Nelson, former NCTR Deputy Director Art Norris, Alliance Board Chairwoman Kayla Cheatwood, Alliance President and Chief Executive Officer Lou Ann Nisbett, and McNulty.
