The White Hall School District played host to its first ever, mini food show last Friday inviting other area school districts to attend. Newer regulations placed on the food that is served at school and the challenges many nutrition officials are facing when it comes to expanding the variety of fruits and vegetables offered as well as increasing the consumption, for school-aged children The school gymnasium was transformed into an expo-style food court with booths and displays set up by several well-known vendors that regularly supply food items found on school breakfast and lunch menus across the state.
