Pauline Hardin Pitts, 65, of Sheridan, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at the Hot Springs County Medical Center in Malvern.
She was born Oct. 24, 1944, in Biscoe, a daughter of the late George Andrew and Etta Bennett Harden.
She was a homemaker and member of Orion Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Mae Pitts and Frances Hosager; a daughter, Connie Jean Dalton; and a grandchild.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Pitts; three sons, Danny Gillam of Wright, Kan., Tommy Harden of East End, and Johnny Harden of Sheridan; three daughters, Elizabeth Howe and Roberta Norris, both of Sheridan, and Phyllis Prichard of Ypsilanti, Mich.; two brothers, George Harden, Jr. and Dave Harden, both of Redfield; and a sister, Dolly Winfred of Reydell.
Graveside services were held today at Jones Cemetery near Sheridan. Al. Michael, Jr. officiated. Arrangements were by Memorial Gardens Funeral Home of Sheridan.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expense.
