Jessie Raymond Brown, 79, of White Hall, died Friday, April 30, 2010, at his home.
He was born Feb. 26, 1931, at Bastrop, La., a son of the late Ollie and Lois Humphrey Brown.
He was a member of White Hall United Pentecostal Church. He had worked with the Lake Catherine Parks and Recreation Department and Jenkins Ferry State Park. He has also served in the Arkansas National Guard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Reatha Marsh Brown; a daughter, Dianne Brown; and a brother, Edward Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Brown of White Hall; three sons, Charles Brown and Andy Brown, both of White Hall, and Mike Bethea of Sheridan; three daughters, Carolyn Bryant and Wendy Dorsey, both of Sheridan, and Lisa Archer of Lonoke; two brothers, Johnny Lee Brown of Kingston, Ariz. and Jerry Lynn Brown of Bastrop, La.; 20 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at Bonita Church of God in Bonita, La, A.D. Hill and C.D. Scott officiated. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery in Jones, La.
