Roy Junior “R.J.” Cranford, 82, of White Hall, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009.
He was born Feb. 4, 1927, in Pace City, a son of the late Lee Roy and Margaret Lane Cranford.
He had served in the Arkansas National Guard and was retired from International Paper Company. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in White Hall.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Harold Cranford.
He is survived by his wife, Fannie Ruth Curtis Cranford; a son, Dennis Cranford of White Hall; a daughter, Denise Brown of Springdale; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Preston and David Cranford of Camden.
Funeral services were held Thursday in the Chapel of Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall. Dean Caldwell officiated.
Burial followed in Bethal Cemetery near Bearden.
