Jimmy Charles Harris, 72, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
He was born Sept. 24, 1937, in Quitman, a son of the late James W. “Buck” Harris and Athie Juliebelle Ward Harris.
He was a retired from Phillips Lighting, and a member of East Side Pentecostal Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Harris; and two sisters, Peggy Jean Henry and Louise Bevins.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Jones Harris of Pine Bluff; two sons, Lydell Harris of North Little Rock, and Michael Kimsey of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Angie Ward of Pine Bluff; one step daughter, Mary Payne of Pine Bluff; one brother, Teddy Ray Harris of Vilonia; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, at Buie Funeral Home Chapel in Rison. Ralph Smith officiated. Burial followed in Lee Cemetery.
