Patricia Bloom Eddins, 84, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at home.
She was born May 9, 1925 in Leon, Iowa, a daughter of the late George D. Barnes and Dorothy Green Barnes.
A 1943 graduate of Pine Bluff High School, she had worked for E.B. and F.R. Bloom Insurance Agency and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank R. Bloom; her second husband, William Barkley Eddins, Jr.; and a brother, George Barnes.
She is survived by two sons, Frank R. and Melissa Ragsdale Bloom, III of Nashville, Tenn., and G. Barnes Bloom of Pine Bluff; a sister, Selma Chavis of Fort Smith; three grandchildren; two step-sons, Bill Eddins of Philadelphia, Pa., and Kirk Eddins of Redfield; two step-daughters, Jane Eddins Stone of Woodlawn, and Dell Eddins Watkins of Goshen; six step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Graceland Cemetery. Walter Van Zandt Windsor officiated. Arrangements were by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors of Pine Bluff.
