Earl H. "Tobey" Weatherford, Jr., 55, of Sherrill, died Thursday May 27, 2010.
He was born Feb. 6, 1955, in Pine Bluff, a son of Earl H. Weatherford, Sr. and Nell Hill Weatherford.
He was a graduate of White Hall High School.
A Baptist, he was the owner/operater of the Sherrill IGA grocery store and had served in the U. S. Marine Corps. and Army Reserve.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy McKinzie Weatherford; his parents, Earl H. and Nell Hill Weatherford of White Hall; two sisters, Vicki Bryant of White Hall, Jan Bell of Minnesota; two brothers, Gray and Mark Weatherford both of White Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 29, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors of Pine Bluff. Carl Weatherford officiated. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Star City.
