    Albert Burns, 68, of Niles, Mich., died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles, Mich.
    He was born Oct. 8, 1941,  in Tailulah, La., to the late Ora Lee Burns and was later adopted by the late Ed Burns and Rosie Nelson.
    He was retired from United Store Fixtures in Niles, and had attended New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Helena.
    He is survived by Cassie Bell and James Bell, both of White Hall, Bruce Bell of Arkadelphia, Kimbra Bell of Chicago, Ill., and Kandice Bell of Hot Springs.
    Funeral services were held today at Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles. James Bell of White Hall officiated. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
