John C. Henderson, 60, of Jefferson, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in Little Rock.
    He was born Oct. 23, 1949, in Austin, Tex., a son of Lilburn Henderson of Leola, and the late Mary Hudson Henderson. He was a 1968 graduate of Leola Schools in 1968, and attended the Assembly of God Church.
    He was a sergeant and worked in the construction department of the Diagnostic Unit and also drove for Knight Transportation.
    In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a brother, Guy Henderson.
    In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Suzanne White Henderson; a son, Kevin Henderson of Jefferson; a daughter, Christi Henderson of White Hall; two sisters, Glenda Keen of Leola and Paula Atchley of Sheridan; and numerous nephews and nieces.
    Funeral services were held  Tuesday in the chapel of Cranford Funeral Home of White Hall. Harry Brewer Jr. officiated. Burial followed in Hickory Grove Cemetery near Bismarch.
