Vernon Rhoden, 80, of White Hall, died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.
He was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Grant County, a son of the late Corbett Yancy and Elsie Ray Lewis Rhoden.
He attended Sheridan Schools and was a retired self employed contractor,
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Edward, Alton, Richard, Donald, Gene, Bobby and Johnny.
He is survived by his wife, Vanita Marjorie Crutchfield Rhoden; and one brother, Archie Rhoden of Grapevine.
Funeral services were held Monday, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors of Pine Bluff. Eddie Harrison officiated. Burial followed in Hardin Cemetery
