David Allen Curlin, 40, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock.
He was born Jan. 1, 1970, in Pine Bluff, a son of George Curlin and Rita Rocconi Gronwald.
He was a 1988 graduate of Watson Chapel High School. He joined the United States Marine Corps.
He was a lieutenant for the Pine Bluff Fire Department and was also a member of the Watson Chapel Volunteer Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Pamela Spriggs Curlin; three daughters, Tarah Curlin, Katherine Brianne Curlin and Kaylee Curlin, all of Pine Bluff; one step-daughter, Haley Appleget of Fayatteville; step-mother, Phyllis Curlin of Pine Bluff; step-father, Joe Gronwald of Redfield; two brothers, Joseph Edward Gronwald of Grand Cane, La., and Jason Gronwald of Hensley; and one sister, Christina McDaniel of Pine Bluff.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 27, from 4-8 p.m., at Ralph Robinson andSon Funeral Directors of Pine Bluff.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Dave Henderson will officiate. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
