Dr. Ron Wise is rejoining the board of directors of the White Hall Museum.
Wise, who has a PhD in chemistry, was appointed to the panel by a unanimous vote of the city council at its Tuesday night regular session.
A White Hall resident since 1986, Wise is retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal, where he was a laboratory manager. He had served on the museum board during the administration of former Mayor Tom Ashcraft.
In other business, the council approved a resolution authoring an extension of an agreement between the city and the University of Arkansas’ Cooperative Extension Service on the service’s assistance in the city’s implementation of federal storm water regulations.
