Woman killed in accident

22-year-old is trapped after her vehicle flips

    A 22-year-old White Hall woman was killed in a one-car accident here around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, July 4.
    Kerry Danielle Bailey died after being trapped inside her 2003 Pontiac, which overturned when Bailey lost control of the vehicle in a curve on U.S. Highway 63 South at Misty Creek.
    Arkansas State Police Troo-per Dexter Holmes reported that the car flipped and came to rest on its passenger side. The weather was clear and the roadway dry at the time of the accident, Holmes said.
    The death was the 284th tra-ffic fatality of the year within the state.
    The accident was the second fatal mishap involving area residents within a week.
    On Saturday, June 28, two persons died in a head-on crash involving two automobiles on Arkansas Highway 270 at Hardin.
    Donald Cagle, 38, of Pine Bluff died at the scene when he was ejected from the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer he was driving when it crossed the center line and struck a 1997 Ford Escort driven by Cheri Snyder, 39, of Jefferson.
    Cagle’s vehicle also flipped.
   Snyder was transported by ambulance to Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, where she died a few hours later.
