White Hall Superintendent of Schools Dr. Larry Smith outlined the district’s proposed state stabilization and Title 1A and VIB expenditures at a regular meeting of the school board on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The spending plan is required as part of the federal government’s stimulus package, Smith said.
The board also heard the annual district report, presented by Deputy Superintendent Dorothy Welch.
In other business, Smith announced that the district’s enrollment has been declining over the past three years, which translates into lost monies through state per-student funding.
Members of the certified and classified personnel policy committees were announced.
On the classified panel are Alisa Jackson, Kurt Moore, Linda Pace, Linda Faulkner, Ginny Grimes and Danny Young.
Serving on the certified committee are Teena Smith, Heather Rogers, Andi Lunsford, Mark Kalkbrenner, Cindy Reed, Amanda Terry, Michele King, Doug Dorris, Craig Dupuy and Young.
