White Hall running back Larry Walls received a huge honor at Monday’s Little Rock Touchdown Club meeting, winning the first-ever ARPreps.com Player of the Week Award as Arkansas’ best high school football player for the opening week of the season. Walls gained national attention when he ran for 444 yards and scored four touchdowns on just 17 carries against Hot Springs Lakeside on Sept. 4. Sharing the stage with Walls as he receives a standing ovation were business development leader and journalist Rex Nelson, Little Rock radio personality David Bazzel of 103.7 The Buzz, and Arkansas State University football coach Steve Roberts.
