DRNC’s Maynard brings Birds of Prey programs to area schools

Eric Maynard, director of the The Delta Rivers Nature Center recently came to Gandy and Hardin Elementary School first grade classes to share a program on Birds of Prey after their unit of study on birds. Maynard brought along two friends, also from the nature center, an American Kestral falcon and a Great Horned Owl.

4-H youth robotics club forming in Jefferson Co.

Jefferson County 4-H is partnering with the Industrial Technology Department at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) to organize a youth robotics club.  
 

New books available at the library
