Bernice Foster, fall scholarship chairwoman, reminded everyone that the Fall

Scholarship Auction will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the White Hall City Hall.

Members were encouraged to gather items for the auction, which will fund scholarships for Megan Tyler, Emily Grace Welch, Camryn Williams and Sabrina Self.

The group is also raffling off an afghan made by Linda Hurd as a fundraiser for the scholarship fund. The drawing will take place at the auction. To donate an auction item, call 870-489-3600 or 870-536-6500.

In other business, Doucey announced that the November meeting will feature soups and salads. The Progressive Women’s Association’s Christmas Party will be Dec. 1 at White Hall City Hall.

Pat Hooks won the Dollar Pot. Nancy Rosen and Shirley Davis won the birthday presents and Delois Dilbeck and Linda Eifling won door prizes.
