White Hall School District art students received awards at the 2018 Southeast Arkansas Regional Art Exhibit held April 8 at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

“We are very proud of our students,” Julie Caple, an educator at Gandy Elementary School, said in a news release. “They work hard and are very talented. We are pleased they were recognized for their artistic ability.”

Maycee Brickey from Gandy received second place in the second grade category for The Special Christmas Flowers.

Allie Rushing of Hardin Elementary School received fourth place in the second grade category for her Pet Portrait.

Taylah Williams of Moody Elementary School earned second place in the third grade category for her Wayne Thieibaud Inspired Cheeseburger.

Braden Drye of Gandy earned fourth place in the third grade category for Snowman at Play.

Sophie Stone of Taylor Elementary School received third place in the fourth grade category for her Wild Wild West artwork.

Allison Clevenger of Gandy earned second place in the fifth grade category for Shadow Pumpkin.

Dawson Miller of Moody earned third place in the fifth grade category for his Self Portrait.

Taylor Storz of White Hall Middle School earned fourth place in the seventh grade category.

Braylon Johnson of White Hall Middle received third place in the 8th grade category for Beauty Bird.

Emily Granderson of White Hall High School received third place for her Jellyfish in the 9th grade category.
