Wendy was born in Blountstown, Florida, on February 23, 1969 to the late Edwin Baggett and Yvonne Chovanec.

Edwina “Wendy” Daugherty, 48, of Pine Bluff, passed away, Tuesday, April 25, 2017.

Wendy was born in Blountstown, Florida, on February 23, 1969 to the late Edwin Baggett and Yvonne Chovanec.

She was a graduate of Monticello High School and attended classes at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

A devout Christian, Wendy was member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church, where she enjoyed listening to Brother Todd’s sermons and spending time with her Sunday school class.

Wendy met Bryan, the love of her life, in November of 1990, and they never left each other’s side. A devoted wife and mother, Wendy also found time to give back and support others through volunteering with hospice, being a Girl Scout leader, and team Mom for softball.

Wendy loved crafting, gardening, making flower arrangements, spending time with her animals, dinner and movies, shopping with her daughter, and relaxing on her back deck studying her Sunday school lessons.

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Bryan Daugherty; daughter, Briana Mackey (Chris) of White Hall; sister, Roberta Williams of Monticello; mother in law, Patricia Daugherty

A memorial service will be held 2:00p.m., Monday, May 1, 2017 at Watson Chapel Baptist Church with Reverend Todd Howard officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1:00p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made in Wendy’s name to her Sunday school class at Watson Chapel Baptist Church.
