Suzanne Marie Grider and Norman Boyd Frisby exchanged wedding vows on May 30, 2009, in the St. Ann’s Cottage at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, La. Henry Hudson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is a daughter of Murrey L. and Carol B. Grider of Pocahontas. She is a granddaughter of Janice S. and the late Murrey J. Grider of White Hall, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Balboni of West Hartford, Conn. She is a practicing dental hygienist in Sheridan.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Larry Frisby of Sheridan. He is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vance Boyd, Sr. of Vivian, La., and Relda and the late Lloyd Frisby of Strong. He is the Grant County deputy prosecuting attorney.
Attendants for the bride were Rachelle Sale, a Phi Mu sorority sister, and Summer Grider, sister-in-law of the bride. The attendants for the groom were Michael Frisby, brother of the groom, and Wade Ward, a Sigma Alpha Sigma fraternity brother. The flower girls were Elizabeth Grider and Rebekah Grider, nieces of the bride.
The bride wore a white empire waistline silk organza dress designed by Romona Keveza. The neckline was enhanced with soutache lace accented with delicate beading of seed pearls and tiny crystals. The fitted scalloped bodice featured delicate beaded soutache lace.
The watteau train had a border of beaded soutache lace. The fingertip veil of illusion was enhanced with matching delicate beaded soutache lace.
She wore a broach from her great-grandmother, Angela Casali, and a wedding bell charm.
Nuptial music was furnished by Sally J. Malone, a second line band and Ryan Visor.
Following a wedding trip to Vienna, Austria and Prague, Czech Republic the couple resides at their home in Sheridan.
