Young, Irvin are united in marriage

    Gaila Marie Young and Terry Scott Irvin exchanged wedding vows at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at 2009 Hwy 104, in White Hall. Bob Harper officiated the ceremony.
    The bride is a daughter of Pamula Sue Penniman of Pine Bluff, and the late Michael Dwayne Young. She is a granddaughter of the late Audrey and Elmer Wood. She is a graduate of Watson Chapel High School. She also attended Central Baptist College graduating from Southeast Arkansas College in Pine Bluff. She has an associates of arts and science degree and is the owner of Comet Cleaners in Pine Bluff.
    The groom is a son of Terry and Carrie Irvin of Pine Bluff. His grandparents are George and Ruth Altstatt and the late Olen and Esther Irvin. She is a graduate of White Hall High School and Southeast Arkansas College in Pine Bluff. He is an EMT for Emergency Ambulance Service.
Pierce Stephens was the ring bearer and Caroline McGahhey was the flower girl. Audra Young was the Maid of Honor. Bride’s Maids were Jennifer McGahhey, Meredith Stephens, Bethany Lackey, Maria Pipkin, Cindy Allen, Sara Hale and LeighAnn Bennett.
    Terry Irvin was the Best Man. Groomsmen were Derrick Cox, Justin Bennett, Trip  Lolnes, Whitney Lowery, Johnathan Robertson, Jameson Massey and Ryan Ault. Ushers were Dustin Bullock and Seth Walker.
    The bride wore a white, satin splitback gown. The A-line style gown featured a beaded cuff, hem and inset with a chapel length train.
    Following a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple will reside in White Hall.
