Worthen, Barber to exchange vows

    Julie Kay Worthen and Michael Dewayne Barber of Greenbrier, will exchange wedding vows Sept. 12, 2009, at Saracen Landing in Pine Bluff.
    The bride-elect is a daughter of Tonia Worthen and David Worthen, both of Pine Bluff.
    She is a 2002 graduate of White Hall High School. She also graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2006, with a bachelor of arts in early education and from Southern Arkansas University in 2009, with a master of education in special education. She is employed at Nemo Vista Jr High in Center Ridge, as a special education teacher.
    The prospective groom is a son of Bessie and Phillip Barber, Jr., of Conway. He is a 2003 graduate of Conway High School and is employed by Nabco Mechanical and Electrical in Conway.
