The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) will conduct a public hearing for the Pine Bluff Chemical Agent Disposal Facility (PBCDF) on the Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, June 22, at White Hall City Hall.
ADEQ is proposing to issue a Resource Conservation and Recovery Acr (RCRA) Hazardous Waste Management Renewal Permit to PBCDF.
If approved, the permit will allow PBCDF’s continued operation in its mission to incinerate PBA’s chemical munitions stockpile.
At the hearing, attendees will be able to make comments on the permit to a hearing officer. Written comments will be received until 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 6, and should be addressed to J. Ryan Benefield, P.E., Acting Chief, hazardous Waste Division, 5301 Northshore Dr., North Little Rock, Ark. 72118.

The BLUE KNIGHTS law enforcement motorcycle club will host a POKER RUN starting at 9 a.m.
Saturday, June 27, at Chapel Village Shopping Center. There will be a $10 per poker hand fee.
