AARP Driver’s Course Slated In WH Dec. 6

    An AARP (American Association for Retired Persons) driver safety course will be offered Saturday, Dec. 6, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at Lemonwood Baptist Church at 920 Shepherd Dr. here.
    The course fee is $10 per person. Participants should bring a valid driver’s license and their AARP membership card, if they are members.
    The course is designed for persons 50 and older. Persons completing the course are eligible for a discount on their automobile insurance if 55 or older.
    The eight-hour course does not include a test.
    A lunch break is scheduled for noon-1 p.m.
    To pre-register, telephone 870-247-4898. The class is limited to 35 persons.
