Christmas is more than five weeks away, but the annual White Hall Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will put area residents in a yuletide mood with plenty of time to spare.
The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5. This year’s parade is themed “Christmas Through a Child’s Eye.”
Entries are being sought, and categories include bands, civic, commercial, dignitaries, elected officials, miscellaneous, saddle clubs, school groups, and youth. The entry fee will be one canned meat of non-perishable food item per person on a float. The food items will be donated to the White Hall Food Pantry.
The entry deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 3.
