GOLF TOURNAMENT
The Southeast Arkansas Home Builders Association’s fourth annual golf outing will be held Thursday, June 25, at Harbor Oaks Golf Club in Regional Park here.
The event is designed as an enjoyable activity in which members of the residential building community – both builders and suppliers – can gather and exchange information and enhance business relationships. Golf is played in a four-person scramble style, with at least one member of each team being an association member.
A $10,000 hole-in-one competition is among this year’s features.

Delta Rivers Nature Center in Pine Bluff Regional Park will be holding a free story time every Thursday beginning at 9:30a.m. until Aug. 27.
Participants are urged to come enjoy the nature stories and maybe see an animal or do a craft of some kind.
There will also be the regular exhibits and animals on display along with the aquarium and gift shop.
The center is open 8:30a.m.-4:30p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 8:30a.m.-7:30p.m., on Friday and Saturday; and 1-5p.m., on Sunday.

Convention to be Held
A district convention of the Jehovah’s Witnesses religious group will be held at the Pine Bluff Convention Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 26-28.
According to a news release from the Brooklyn, N.Y.-based organization, an estimated 11,000 persons will attend the event.

Youth fellowship slated
White Hall United Methodist Church, located at 300 Church St., is hosting weekly youth fellowships for students in grades 7-12. The fellowships will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A light supper will be served and followed by activities.
