Yarbrough’s celebrate 70 years together

Earnest and Vina West Yarbrough of White Hall, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Oct. 11, 2011, with family during a gathering in their honor.
The couple were married in 1941 at a wedding ceremony officiated by C.E. Yancy.
Together they have two children, Christine and husband Carroll Bridges of Pine Bluff and Jimmy and Dottie Yarbrough; seven grandchildren;  eight step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Vina is a daughter of Hollis and Velma Hughes West. She is a retired beautician.
Earnest is a son of Charlie and Ophelia Yarbrough of Opal. He is retired from Wharehouser and is a member of the V.F.W.  The couple has made White Hall their home since 1957 and are members of Freewill Baptist Church and the Red Cross.
