The White Hall City Park, lit with all of the Christmas lights made a perfect setting for a special kind of proposal. Terry Wingard of White Hall, takes a knee and proposes in the traditional manner, to long-time girlfriend, Lindsey Sheftic. Lured to the park by Wingard and his friend, Dusty Summers under the pretense of taking pictures of the lights, Sheftic says she was caught completely by surprise. Her answer? Definitely a yes. The couple plans to marry next December at White Hall First Baptist Church. She is a student at UALR and is in the speech pathology program with plans to graduate in May with plans to begin graduate school in the fall. She is employed by Merle Norman Cosmetics. Wingard is a student at UALR where he is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. He is employed as a Deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff Department.
