Bulldogs fall to Watson Chapel

The White Hall Bulldogs dropped two games to local rival Watson Chapel Friday night.

The senior girls narrowly fell 37-35, while the senior boys lost 73-44.

Senior standout Jeremy Sprinkle led the Bulldogs with 20 points, shooting seven of nine from the field and six of eight from the free throw line.  Sprinkle also led the Bulldog defense, grabbing seven rebounds.

Nathan Lee had eight points for White Hall, while D.J. Freeman tacked on seven.

LeMarcus Davis totaled five points, while Percy Arnold and Cash Arcement had two points each.
Freeman had seven rebounds for White.

Lee and Arnold added four rebounds each for the Bulldogs. LeMarcus Davis chipped in two rebounds, and Thomas Bush had one.

The Bulldogs shot 33 percent on the night, netting 13 of 39 shots but were unable to find the basket from behind the three-point arc. White Hall was 18 of 31 from the charity stripe.

Defensively, White Hall totaled 30 rebounds and three steals.

Watson Chapel hit 25 of 54 field goals, including six three pointers. The Wildcats hit 17 of their 25 free throws in the game, while pulling down 30 rebounds.

The Bulldogs return to the court Friday night to take on North Pulaski at 6 p.m., before hitting the road Tuesday at Mills. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
